Transformers - Dark of the Moon - You Gotta See It!

This movie was long. It needed an intermission for bathroom breaks. Have  you ever tried drinking one of the theater's large Cokes and NOT needing a bathroom break? 

There was kick-as action all the way through.  The girlfriend was not a disappointment as so many people have said. She was just not a kick-ass heroine.  Not every woman is and she was the soft one that still survived when the going got tough.

Had some interesting political comments that brought laughs or comments from most of the audience. It was fun.

If you haven't seen it, then GO NOW!  If you have, then GO AGAIN!

I've seen it twice and will probably see it one more time in the theater. It is well worth seeing! I am glad that Hasbro invented the Transformers and super glad that there have been three action movies about them.

Transformers - Dark of the Moon

The Transformers are back and better than ever.

The world premier of Transformers: Dark of the Moon took place at the Moscow Film Festival. Reports coming out of the Film Festival state that it is the best movie in the Transformers franchise. By all accounts it is a must be seen in 3-D movie.  If you have an IMAX close, then that is where to see it.

Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and his friends discover that the space race between the U.S.S.R and the United States during the 1960s had a hidden motivation. Hmm, a government cover up.  What a surprise. The goal was to be the first to investigate a Cybertronian spacecraft that crashed on The Moon.  

The race is on when the Autobots learn about the downed spacecraft because the  Decepticons too want to uncover the ship’s secrets.  A new villain called Shockwave is introduced who strains the friendship between Sam and Optimus Prime.

      

Director Michael Bay, the man who helmed for the previous two “Transformers” films, again captains this third more explosive chapter in the Transformer franchise.  Ehren Kruger, the main writer for “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,”  came back to pen the screenplay for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. When you have a winner, there is no reason to change and Kruger has proven that flawlessly.

A number of familiar actors Josh Dumanel, and Tyrese Gibson as well as others reprise their roles, with the new additions of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Ken Jeong, Frances McDormand, Patrick Dempsey, and John Malkovich.
